Who can apply?
Developers, designers and people with ideas for the NEAR ecosystem can express interest. Final eligibility and event rules will be published before the hackathon.
Do I need a team already?
You can apply as a solo builder or with a team. The community Discord will be the place to meet potential teammates once the official invite is available.
When and where does it happen?
Dates and the event format are still being finalized. We’ll publish them here when confirmed.
What should we submit?
Plan for a working prototype, a source-code repository, a clear README and a short demo. The final submission checklist will be published before the event.
How will projects be judged?
Previous NEAR hackathons evaluated technical implementation, design, impact, originality and sustainability. We use that as a preparation guide here. This event’s final rubric, judges and prize allocation will be announced.
Can I build something across multiple tracks?
Yes, the application lets you choose a primary direction while your idea can span multiple areas. Final rules for entering more than one bounty will be announced.
